UX/UI Designer
This project was developed in collaboration with three developers to create an innovative platform that connects students, juniors, mentors, and nonprofits. The platform enables users to work on real-world projects, gain practical experience, and practice teamwork in a professional-like environment.
It also helps users build a strong portfolio, stay motivated through an achievement system, and receive guidance from experienced mentors, while contributing to meaningful nonprofit projects.

02 Exposure to Industry Standards
Users are exposed to industry requirements and standards through real projects, better preparing them for future careers
03 Integration of Mentoring and Professional Guidance

03 THE PROBLEM
Many students and juniors are looking for ways to gain meaningful experience and develop professionally, but often cannot find opportunities that offer real mentoring and support. At the same time, nonprofit organizations need quality digital solutions but lack the resources and workforce to implement them. This gap between the need for professional experience and the need for digital resources leaves both sides at a disadvantage - creating an immediate need for a platform that connects them.
04 THE CHALLENGE
Students and juniors often struggle to gain real-world experience before entering the industry. At the same time, many nonprofits need digital solutions but lack the resources to create them. The challenge was to build a platform that connects these needs—allowing students to work on real projects, gain mentorship, and build their portfolios while helping nonprofits receive impactful solutions.

07 Business model
The platform offers a Premium plan that provides access to professional mentorship, including personalized feedback and guidance throughout projects. This helps students improve their skills, strengthen their portfolio, and gain confidence before entering the job market.

08 AI
The system integrates smart AI that analyzes a student’s profile – skills, experience, and interests – and recommends the most suitable projects. At the same time, it identifies the mentors best suited for the student based on experience, skills, and working style. This helps optimize matches, save time, and maximize learning and development opportunities.
09 User Research
Yoav, 29, is a final-year Computer Science student preparing to enter the professional world. Although he worked on several academic projects during his studies, most were done in an academic setting without real-world or team-based experience. As a result, he feels he lacks the practical experience needed to showcase his abilities to employers.

"All I have are projects from my studies,
and I feel like it’s not enough״

The main screen provides an overview of the system, displaying active projects, projects approaching their deadlines, important updates, and key data. The goal of this screen is to help users quickly understand the status of their projects and important tasks.

On the Projects screen, users can see an AI system that analyzes and recommends the projects that best match them. In addition, projects can be filtered by levels and categories. After selecting a project, users can send a request to participate.

The Mentors screen is part of the Premium plan. Only users with a Premium subscription can choose a mentor to guide them throughout the project. The system also integrates AI to recommend the mentors that best match the user.
Users can filter mentors based on different criteria. After selecting a mentor, it is possible to send them a message and communicate with them directly through the system.

Project Screens:
When entering a project screen, users can view team members’ tasks, a team chat, project guidelines, and graphical data showing project progress. This helps users stay updated and track the overall development of the project.

My Projects screen: Users can view active projects, projects they have requested to join, completed projects, and projects they have created. A progress indicator is displayed next to each project.

Portfolio screen: Each student can create their own portfolio within the system, including a resume, level of experience, number of completed projects, field of study, skills and expertise, as well as recommendations from mentors and lecturers, and more.

Data screen: Users can view graphs that show project progress, including average task completion time, collaboration activity, and additional key metrics.
